Water Drops

They are so pretty. Watching the incoming storm, I remember these pics I snapped last Sunday morning:

here was the total of last's week rain from Tuesday to Sunday morning (inches)

snap pea leaves really hold their droplets!

I like how they caught along the edges of the nasturtium leaves...

 ...and on my tomato cages

Here's to this weekend's arctic storm and more rain drops!

  1. Mary,

I've been trying to find an email, or way to contact you because I was curious if you had any results with the Annabee's be attractant? Did it work? Was it BS? If you see this comment could you please email me at joeldanto@gmail.com and let me know. I will love you for forever.

  2. I see you have some of those colored tomato cages. What do you think? I love the idea of making something utilitarian look beautiful, and they seem pretty well made...

  3. @ Fern - Thanks, Fern. I love them :) Got the idea when I saw some at a nursery - but they were a wopping $17!!! So I just took some colorful rustoleum to my own :) It was so easy. They looked especially nice when I had an orange one on a yellow pear tomato and a yellow one on my brandywines. I like the idea of setting off the fruit color that way.

  4. @ JD - no, I haven't gotten around to using the Annabees I'm sorry to say. I received it in the fall and at the time had lots of flowers and bees. I thank you for reminding me, I have a bee water dish I've wanted to attract them to and the blooms are rather sparse right now. Perfect time to break it out!
